Does it look orange?

NO! :) "My friends love how it looks and can't believe I am not orange"... We get this a lot.  Several clients have been the "guinea pig" for the group and it never fails... we deliver a dark natural looking tan every time. This is where most of our tanning parties come from. So NO ORANGE HERE!

How long will a tanning session take?

The process only takes about 20 minutes. 10 minutes to tan and another 10 minutes to dry.

Is Airbrush Tanning Safe?

The active ingredient in our product is DHA (Dihydroxyacetone), derived from sugar cane. DHA causes a natural reaction on the top layer of your skin to naturally produce a beautiful tan without damage to the skin.

DHA was approved by the FDA in the 1970's and has been refined since to produce better results (no orange, but brown).

FDA approved and recommended by the American Cancer Society as the only safe way to tan, without the dangerous causes of the sun or tanning beds.

For more information on this matter, see www.skincancer.org

How Long Will My Airbrush Tan Last?

The longevity of your tan will depend your skin type and activity level. You can typically expect 7-10 Days of a great looking tan. Our regular clients tan every two weeks and are very good about using  body lotion  morning and night  between  tanning sessions.

How Do I Prepare for My Airbruh Tan?

  • Shower and Exfoliate your entire body before your tanning session.
  • Shave or wax before you tan.
  • DO NOT apply anything to your skin such as moisturizer, lotion, deodorant, or other products. This will create a barrier and affect the results of an even tan.
  • Tie back or pull up your hair. The tan will not effect the color of your hair.
  • Have your loose fitting clothes ready for after your tan. We recommend a loose, light weight t-shirt or night gown. Avoid material with a texture or fuzzy slippers.
  • Remove all jewelry.

While Being Tanned What Should I Wear?

You can wear as much or as little as you  want. Our technicians are professionals and our only concern is that your tan looks amazing! Please don't ever apologize for who you are... To us you are flawless!

For our male clients we ask that you do cover up. You can still get tan buns if you break out that beach thong!

What Do I Do After My Airbrush Tanning Session?

After tanning, you will want to wear loose clothing with a soft texture. Avoid silk, nylon and wool. Also avoid heavy robes (such as terry cloth) and furry slippers. The more texture your clothing has, the more likely it is to rub on your tan.

Shower 6-12 hours after your tanning session.

Avoid getting your tan wet. So no doing the dishes or spilling wine on your tan (Bizzy that was for you!).

If your tan happens to get smudged please do not freak out. It should even out after your first shower.

Avoid sweating! So no working out until after your first shower!

Please know that if your baby is tan it is all natural and not from Bella Tans. As always if you have any concerns please consult your doctor.
